One can never go wrong with roses for Valentine’s Day!
Mary Magdalene dresses are rare these days and I was glad to find this one from Xianyu for a steal.
I thought the colours were quite neutral, but it was unexpectedly difficult to coordinate. The dress is a shade of faded pink, and the roses on it a very subtle hue, so it looks strange with cream and dusty-pink boleros and blouses of a richer tint. A real Old Rose indeed, though I do mean it fondly. I adore vintage dresses.

J/k I can’t believe it but I actually don’t have a suitable bag to go with this outfit. Time to go shopping!
I’m very surprised by how perfectly this non-lolita blouse goes with the dress. It’s very translucent and I hardly wear it, except under my sleeveless non-lolita dresses. The petal collar adds an elegant touch.
Close-up of the hat. I commissioned someone to make this for me to go with my Victorian Maiden Rose Bouquet Stripe Chiffon OP some time ago before I got this dress. I think it actually matches Old Rose better!
This is my first time wearing this dress out and Fuzzy knows it. She immediately climbed on my lap as soon as I was seated!
